About Us

To share proven Environmental, Health and Safety practices among IPMI members with the goal of improving the overall EHS performance of the precious metal industry. Sharing of Health and Safety practices such as the Latest trends in Operational Health and Safety Programs, Behavior Based Safety Programs, and Computer software to manage health and safety issues. Sharing of Environmental compliance processes and programs such as the Latest trends in Environmental programs and Highlighting potential Environmental issues identified within the industry. The EHSOC also works collaboratively with the Legislative and Regulatory Affairs Committee (LARAC).

Organize an annual Seminar / Webinar to include relevant EHS topics for the IPMI community
Organize periodic EHS Operational updates
Chair is responsible for organizing the speakers and agenda for each meeting
IPMI Executive Director organizes location and logistics of meeting

Share Health and Safety practices including:
- Latest trends in Operational Health and Safety Programs
- Behavior Based Safety Programs
- Computer software to manage health and safety issues
- Ongoing updates about Pt exposure (IPA information)
- Sharing of known success stories
Share Environmental compliance processes and programs
- Latest trends in Environmental programs
- Highlighting potential Environmental issues identified within the industry
- Highlighting potential Environmental regulation changes with significant impact on member companies
- Computer software to manage Environmental Compliance
Work collaboratively with the Legislative and Regulatory Affairs Committee (LARAC)
- Highlight potential topics and presentations for our membership
- Provide support to educate and influence Government Regulators for the PM industry
