Whether it's your first time or you haven't attended in a while, this video is your essential guide to navigating the event successfully.
Get ready for an exciting and enriching experience!
Your IPMI badge is your ticket to all events and receptions throughout the conference. When you arrive, visit the IPMI registration desk to collect your badge. Registration is open on specific days and times, so check the schedule. Don't forget to wear your badge to all IPMI functions, as there will be checkpoints throughout the conference.
Download the IPMI conference app from the Apple or Android App Store to stay connected and informed. The app will provide you with the latest updates, schedules, and information on events and speakers.
Don't miss the IPMI experience for first-time attendees on Saturday, June 8th, from 4:30 to 6:00 PM on the Grand View Terrace. This welcome event, sponsored by Sabin Metal Corporation, is the perfect opportunity to meet fellow attendees and IPMI staff and learn more about the conference.
The dress code for daytime and evening events is resort casual, which means collared shirts and trousers. Session rooms can get chilly, so consider bringing a sweater or jacket. For outside events, you may want to wear shorts. For the Tuesday night banquet, the dress code is semi-formal (business suit and tie optional for men, cocktail dress for women).
Your conference fee includes all evening cocktail receptions and sponsored events, except for the president's reception and awards banquet on Tuesday, June 11th. You can sign up for this event before arriving at the conference, and you can visit the IPMI site to register if you haven't done so.
All presentations from the technical sessions can be emailed to you after the conference. Feel free to take notes and photos of individual slides, but full video recording is not permitted. The registered attendee list will be posted on the IPMI website, but you can request the full up-to-the-minute list by emailing mail@ipmi.org.
We look forward to seeing you at the conference! Safe travels, and don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or need assistance.
Remember, this is your first IPMI conference, and we want to ensure you have a fantastic experience. With these tips and a little preparation, you'll be ready to make the most of your time at the conference. See you in June!
